Born in Beirut in 1973, Georges Meouchy holds a Masters in Law;
20 years of Law Practice during which he developed a wide and deep understanding of Social Interactions. He observed countless physiognomies, shared emotions, and developed further an already inborn sense of empathy.
It all started when a painting by Basquiat triggered in him an insatiable craving to create. An urge to lay on paper all these human expressions he encountered day after day.
As a self-taught artist, He started scribbling on paper these human faces.
Later on, He carefully painted them, on canvas, with their joys, their fears, their greed, their nonchalance and their goodness…
In September 2022 Georges participated in Art to Learn, Art to Live Benefit online art auction along with notable Lebanese artists; the proceeds went to support student financial aid and cancer care.
