Born in 1978 in Iraq, Hisham Taher holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 2007, and a Masters’s degree of Fine Arts from the Lebanese University in Beirut in 2022. Hisham is a member of Iraqi Plastic Art Society and a member of Iraqi Artist Union.
He had collective exhibitions in Turkey, Syria, Egypt and Jordan.
Hisham Taher’s first solo exhibition in Beirut: “CHEERS”, was represented by Aïda Cherfan Fine Art and Christian Achkar Art Consultancy
Hisham has won many awards and currently lives and works in Beirut and Erbil.
