Born in San Vincenzo (Livorno) in 1955.

He matured a deep artistic preparation in the Arts School and then in the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.

His curiosity allowed him to explore traditional kinds of painting, and to test other techniques, including  engraving and  fresco painting of which he is one of the few deepest experts.

Some important works:

  • The extensive cycle for San Vincenzo’s Church
  • The big fresco on the external wall of the Bisho’s palace in the historic center of Massa Marittima

Talani’s paintings are present in prestigious collections both in Italy and abroad. He collaborates with Italian and foreign galleries.

Many leading personalities of the world of art and litterature have written on him. Among them: Vittorio Sgarbi, Umberto Cecchi, Giovanni FAccenda, Tommaso Paloscia, Nicola Micieli.
